Our Oktoberfest German style Marzen…Schnapsidee is on tap and in cans beginning today! Tuesday, August 22nd!
Fermented with German Perle and German grown Tettnang…we then let the beer rest at near freezing temps (this is called lagering) for 4 weeks before packaging to help create a very clean and smooth amber lager with notes of baked bread, caramel, toast and honey. It’s the perfect lager to help ring in the end of summer.
What does Schnapsidee mean?!?! Schnapsidee roughly translates to “hold my beer as I go do something I probably wouldn’t had I not been drinking this beer.”
