Join us in the taproom for our Live Music Thursdays series! This month we have Half Past 6 performing.
The Twin Cities-based duet Half Past 6 got its start in the late-1990s with an acoustic-electric sound influenced heavily by the ‘unplugged’ scene of the era. Initially coworkers, founders Mark Mandel and Tom Gebell first became known for having 6:30am jam sessions at their Plymouth office. As their sound matured, Half Past 6 moved from the office to some of the best stages in Minnesota and beyond. They performed nine times at classic rock festival Moondance Jam, and at legendary Twin Cities venues like Lee’s Liquor Lounge, The Fine Line and O’Gara’s Garage.
Half Past 6 plays a mix of classic rock, outlaw country and blues in a style that is very much their own – two voices and two guitars complimenting each other at every turn. They move seamlessly between big hits and deep tracks, and provide music lovers with an entertaining night of music.
