Join us Thursday, February 5 as we tap King of Cool, a bold and expressive hazy IPA built for celebration. Expect a soft, full body with layered hop character — hints of blueberry and subtle cotton candy up front, followed by melon, stone fruit, and a punch of pineapple, citrus, and passionfruit. It’s smooth, vibrant, and dangerously drinkable. We’ll have Sandy’s Food Truck on site from 4:00–8:30 PM, and karaoke fires up at 6:00 PM, because beer release nights should come with a soundtrack.

King of Cool is named in honor of Frederick McKinley Jones (pictured below), a pioneering inventor who lived and worked in Hallock, Minnesota. Jones revolutionized portable refrigeration, earning more than 60 patents and helping transport food, medicine, and blood during World War II. His innovations also played a role in creating Minnesota’s first indoor ice rink — a fitting legacy for a beer that celebrates ingenuity and keeping things cool. Come raise a glass to great beer, a legendary mind, and a night filled with fresh pours, good food, and a mic waiting for your best song.
